Dwell House began with a simple prayer from Psalm 27:4: “One thing…” — a desire to dwell in the presence of the Lord and help others do the same.
What began as a prayer in our own hearts [during our season of being full time self supported missionaries in NYC] eventually became a ministry, a place of prayer, resources for others, and now a way of life for our family. Through changing seasons, cities, ministry, raising our boys, and whatever adventures are ahead, the heart has remained the same: we want to know Jesus, welcome His presence into our everyday lives, and help others do the same.
We're John and Brooke, and along with our boys, we're learning what it looks like to build our lives around that one desire—not perfectly, but intentionally. Dwell House isn't just a place to us anymore. It's a way of life.
