In Matthew 25, Jesus tells the parable of ten virgins waiting for the bridegroom. All ten had lamps. All ten were waiting. But only five had prepared enough oil for the journey ahead.
When the bridegroom arrived, only those who were ready entered the wedding feast.

May we be a people who don't simply wait for His return, but prepare our hearts for His coming.
